Innovate Delhi is a six week boot camp organised at IIIT-Delhi to provide an opportunity to early stage start ups to hone their business propositions and pitch before angel investors at the end of the program. Selected start ups would also be able to secure incubation at the Incubation Centre,IIIT Delhi.The program would provide support in terms of stipend, hostel accommodation, and basic infrastructure to work on their propositions.
The 10 selected startups (min 2 to max 5 team members) will move to New Delhi for 6 weeks in summer of 2016, during which the team of eminent startup founders and industry experts will work intensively with each one of them to get the startup into best possible shape to bring the best pitch to carefully-selected invite-only investors on Pitch Day.
Innovate Delhi’s real draw is an unmatchable entry into the otherwise closed world of high-stakes entrepreneurship. Over a period of 6 weeks, enrollees network with some of the industry’s most powerful investors and innovators as the startups attempt to turn their ideas into full-fledged businesses. And, at the end of the tenure, the startups get to participate in Pitch Day during which they present their plans to venture capitalists and angel investors.
Startup is solitary journey and its immensely challenging. Working with other people going through similar challenges makes a huge difference.

Dr Ritesh Malik is the founder of Guerilla Ventures, an angel fund that has invested in 25 companies, mostly in the hardware space. Its portfolio includes Fin, a wearable gadget and the first Indian hardware product to raise Series A venture funding. Since 2014, he has cofounded Harvin Academy; Thinkpot, an advertising production house; and tech company Adstuck, which sold off its flagship product ALIVE app to the Bennett Coleman Group.

Pradeep Gupta is the Chairman of the CyberMedia Group, South Asia's first and largest specialty media house, with brands like Dataquest, PCQuest, Voice&Data, DARE, CIOL, Global Services, etc. CyberMedia is a public company. CyberMedia is executing India’s first Electropreneur Park, an incubation centre for Electronics start-ups funded by the Government of India.
Pradeep is also an Angel investor and has mentored over 150 start-ups. He is the co-founder of Indian Angel Network, Asia’s largest angel network with more than 300 members that has done over 70 deals. Currently IAN invests in 30-40 deals each year.
